Population survey 2024

Welcome to the second population survey in Esslingen

We, the city administration and local council, are interested in your opinion on the issues that affect our city. With your support, we would like to gain a comprehensive, representative picture of how Esslingen residents assess and evaluate life in Esslingen.  This is the basis for good, future-orientated municipal policy.

 

The following questions cover a variety of interesting topics. Please answer spontaneously and honestly.  You are helping us a lot.

 

And it also benefits you and all Esslingen residents: Many interesting results were derived from the results of the last survey in 2022, which point the way for the next steps. For example, urban parks, green spaces and playgrounds are being surveyed and improved where necessary.

Survey data policy

The population survey is conducted as municipal statistics in accordance with §8 of the State Statistics Act of 24 April 1991 (GBI. 10/1991) by the Municipal Statistics Department of the City of Esslingen am Neckar. The statistical confidentiality of your data is fully guaranteed in accordance with the provisions of §§14 and 15 of the State Statistics Act. The provisions of the State Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation are complied with.

The department responsible for the survey is the Municipal Statistics Department of the City of Esslingen am Neckar. The analysis of the survey is carried out there in the isolated statistics centre by people who are committed to confidentiality and data protection. After about 2 to 3 weeks, will send all selected Esslingen residents a reminder or thank-you letter for their participation. 

In accordance with §§14 - 16 of the State Statistics Act and Art. 13 GDPR, participation in the survey is voluntary and will be analysed completely anonymously. Due to the anonymous collection of data, it is no longer possible to correct, delete or provide information about the individual survey data at a later date. The details of individual interviewees are not disclosed externally. Only overall results and results from groups of more than 10 people will be published.
